TV monitor only showing in Black and white?
Hi all switching to a PC to serve karaoke and for some reason all I get on the TV is a black and white image?
My setup is as fallows
PC s-video out to RF modulator s-video in, out on f style coax to TV
I get the image but it is only in B/W?
Thanx in advance
Chuck
P.S. I'm using a evga geforce4 mx 440 vid card

My new RF modulators have an adjustment knob that you turn with a small screwdrive. It adjusts the picture from black and white all the way to oversaturated color.
Grainy picture could be a lousy coax connection or the end of the cable is going bad. OR.....
What channel does you cable company broadcast on? Some use 3 and some use 4. If yours uses 4 then you need to put the TV on channel 4 and the RF modulator set to 4 also.
The hardest part of karaoke is the TVs.

Ok so I returned the RF switch cause I suspected it was bad. Got the new switch in and now the hp splash screen and the windows logo screen come up with VERY nice color but when windows loads it's back to B/W on the tv? At this point it has to be a softwear problem but I realy only know enuff about computers to be a danger to myself. Anyone have any suggestions?

okay did i miss what program it was and where you got it?
also all of the following that others have stated are true...
Coax should be high quality the thinner the cable then more loss of signal.
RF modulator should be set on 75
Also if you are using a splitter check it... it could be bad.
your video card could be wrong too..
just my thoughts!
