Power CD+G Burner karaoke software

So my understanding is that with Power CD+G Burner karaoke software I will be able to download all my CD+G Karaoke songs into my computer.
Convert the format so I can put around 500 songs on to one DVD?

Do I need to by a special DVD/CD Burner

Power CD+G Burner will allow you to rip song tracks from karaoke CDG discs to the MP3+G format. It will also encode MP3+G files and burn them to a CDR disc that will play in a typical CDG player. It does not write to DVD discs. With a CD+G compatible DVD burner and the right software (like Nero) you could burn the MP3+G files, as data, to a blank DVD disc and play them with a software MP3+G player.
