karaoke mixer vs. all in one karaoke system

HI Guys,
Which is better a karaoke mixer with a separate player or the all in one karaoke system?
Which will produce better quality and more durability?

What are some of your suggestion for mixer/player/all in one system?
The best brand?

I am a newbie and I would like to get a karaoke system in the 2-300.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the karaoke forum Ben. Would you supply a little more info? What will the system be used for? Does it need to be easily portable? What does "in the 2-300" mean?

sorry..I meant to say that I could only spend around 200 -300 dollars max for the system.
I am looking for a portable preferably a system that can also play dvd. I know that alot of brand name out there and seem like RSQ is the leading brand that every have lots of positive feedback on it.

What do you suggest?

Megabox, RSQ, and VocoPro, all make good quality machines but I'm afraid you won't be able to find much of a system in that price range. I imagine that your best bet would be to look on eBay.
