Re Certification, is it worth it?

Post by DanG2006 »

I just found out I have to recertify my CB certification and this time it's gonna cost me $199 to do so. I only have 4 of their discs and had only 3 of them loaded on my hard drive. The biggest issue is that it would have to be in person for me as I don't own a webcam nor do I intend on getting one just for the recertification process. Add to that the fact that my home computer is really finicky when it comes to allowing me online.

I believe I can get by with just the GEM series and the KJ Media Pro as 3 of the four discs are available on the KJ Media Pro drive.

Forgot to mention I'm doing the same with SC. There won't be any ripped discs on my system.

I don't count the GEM series because they were meant for computer use.

Turns out my plan to just use the Media Pro is a good one. Got me automatically re-certified.

So..., There's certification and then annual recertification? @$199 each?

Why?

Ya know..., Organized crime did (an probably still does) this to small neighborhood business owners. They called it "Protection", but the law calls it "Extortion".
