I had a talk with him about the way things have been going with my nights and other nights.
He has a fill in DJ on some weekend nights. The DJ is popular but he is younger and he plays anything. He has had to tell him to tone down the filth. Meaning mostly the Hip Hop stuff.
He also says he sees more destruction after he plays. Having a full house isn't the bar owners main goal anymore if it comes with more damage to be paid for.
He would rather have a smaller tamer crowd.
Meaning the younger DJ will be getting less play time and maybe replaced with a different DJ. The bar owner would make a sacrifice in some money to have karaoke 7 nights a week. The karaoke crowds come with a lot less baggage. And a higher predictability rate.
