Elvis quality Karaoke

Post by Markm »

My brother and I are having fun singing using karaoke, he wants to only do Elvis, but is struggling finding the songs that have the quality, He likes Sounds choice's quality, he would like to buy individual songs on a disk of the songs he wants to do, not sure what other quality music is out there also, so far he can only find $5.00 songs, I suggested using a voice remover and using the real thing but he and computers are not in the same. so looking for a reputable company that will create compilations reasonably priced as well as other top karaoke companies with better music support, I find Sunfly does well, he purchased a set under Maestro, which you would think half of the band didn't show

Go to the TriceraSoft karaoke download site. They have a lot of Elvis songs by various manufacturers. You can listen to part of the songs to hear the quality. They cost about two bucks each. You could use Power CD+G Burner to easily create CDG discs from the songs and to make custom compilations from your existing discs.

Forget about the vocal removing idea. The results will be far worse than any commercial karaoke song track.

I second wiseguy's advice on not devocalizing the tracks. I would add that if you can find it on ebay, Music Maestro has a Velvet Elvis set that is supposed to be the best out there. I don't normally suggest Music Maestro but in this case they got it right.

Chartbuster's "Elvis Live" series (there are five discs) is the best compared to MM's "Velvet Elvis" series. I have them both and I found the quality of the CB's much better. Of course there are way more selections available on the Velvet Elvis series, but what CB lacks in quantity, they make up for in quality.

I found them on Amazon

SBI Karaoke is another place that will make custom discs from a variety of manufactures. From what I understand, their customer service can't be beat and the price is very reasonable. I believe it was around $30 for a disc with 15 songs.
