rox box

I am using rox box and just loaded up the program from my ex hard drive. The Karaoke songs loaded fine showing name gene ect ect. When I loaded the 35 gigs of mp3 regular music it loaded fine, but not all songs show the name artist genre ecte ct. Along with rox box I am using winamp. How can I get the artist, genre, track name to show within the rox box search agent? please advise. Thanks Mike

Download an MP3 tag editor and check the ID3-1 and ID3-2 tags for your MP3 files.

Thanks a million it now works great. I now have a new problem. A friend of mine has the same rox box installation as I used only he is working with windows 7. It does not want to intall, errors keep popping up. Is this because of Windows 7? Is there a fix for it?

micemike, they have a forum and Frank and the other users are pretty good about answering any question. I know they answered a bunch of mine when I was using RoxBox. I know he is working on version 4 right now and I bet it is going to work on Windows 7.
