VGA Splitters

Hi everybody. quick question, TV's are so big I was wanting to use computer monitors. Has anybody used a vga splitter? so I can hook up to 2 monitors at once. Usually the places I work have tv's that you can hook up to this is the first time I have had to bring my own. Thanks.

They practically give away small TVs anymore. They are cheap.
