AS a smoker, I agree with you. There is absolutely no reason to leave your butts on the ground for others to pick up.
I understand about hospitals wanting to put on a "healthy front", but it is ridiculous that smoking is not allowed on the grounds. Make a smoking area with ashtrays ... everybody is happy. If they really want to make it a health issue put up pictures of smoker's lungs, etc. But, bottom line, all of us who smoke know it isn't good for us.
