Restrooms and Microphones

Post by Bigdog »

Do you have any idea how many people don't wash their hands after a trip to the john?

One of my singers is a male nurse. We happened to be sharing the facilities...he didn't know I was there because he had his back to me because he was there first. But when he finished he left with out washing his hands. :yikes: As a nurse I would have expected a little more....

Are girls any better????

Also the microphones have made unscheduled, unauthorized trips to the restrooms.

My next song books will have hand washing notices in them. Because of Swine flu and other GERMs....

Maybe the Clorox wipes isn't a bad idea...

Lovely topic idea, dear.

I agree ... I would expect a nurse to practice much better hygeine. Although, I have heard some men say that all they are touching is their, umm, yeah, thingy  and they know it is clean.

I very seldom see a woman leave a restroom without washing her hands ... but it could be because they know someone is in there with them. Don't know.

And, finally, why in the h-e-double toothpics would someone take the mic into the bathroom?!?! :nonod:

It has happened after I gave them the microphone because they were next to sing...and they decided they needed to "GO" before they went. So they took it with them in their pocket so they would be ready to sing.

Wow. They couldn't hold it for a few minutes? I think I would take the mic back and tell them to come get it ... after they wash their hands!

Apologies in advance for dragging the tone down but possibly he (presumably) isn't used to holdin' anything that big and wants to know what it's like??? :D 8)

Methinks Wiseguy's "Pornoake" might be very useful

You didn't drag the tone down, you really lightened it up. Thank you so much for a good laugh!!!

If I realized it before they came out, I'd be SO tempted to crank the gain on those mics.
Last week, I went to Philadelphia, but it was closed.

Last night I gave Bob his microphone because he is singing next. I gave it to him on my way to use the rest room.

As I standing there ....Bob walks in with the microphone in hand....

He's going to lay it on the top of the urinal.

The least gross thing I have ever seen on top of a urinal is SPIT.

It get worse on down the line.

I yelled NO....so he puts it in his pocket.

WHY, WHY, WHY.....does anyone need to drag the microphone to the rest room???

I get qweezie when I see them take their drinks in to the rest room.

Have you seen the stories about fecal matter being found in your kitchen? That means the fecal matter traveled through the air in your house and made it all the way to the kitchen...meaning it travels all through the house after you flush...

Or it could have been on your unwashed hands....My guess is that plus when you flush...the force of the water causes a fine mist spray that is forced into the air.

So why would you take your drinks in an open glass... into a public rest room....?????

Ooohhhh...yuck

I had to leave before he was done so...did he wash his hands before he left????
