Michael Jackson Just Died

LOS ANGELES - Pop star Michael Jackson was taken by ambulance to a Los Angeles-area hospital this afternoon, according to celebrity gossip website TMZ.com.

Sources say a 9-1-1 call was received from Jackson's Holby Hills, California home shortly after 12:20pm Thursday afternoon. Paramedics performed CPR on the singer during his transport to a Los Angeles hospital

I don't watch day-time TV, but apparently it was just announced that he has died.

Yes, he has died. It all happens in threes. First Ed McMahon then Farrah Fawcett and now Michael Jackson.

According to the coroner, they should have an answer tomorrow.

According to a friend of the family, he was surrounded by a lot of leeches who didn't have his best interest at heart ... and abusing prescription drugs was mentioned as well.

I hope he finds the peace in death that he never found in life.

I'm going to step out on a limb and say I think he did it himself. I don't think he was going to be able to keep the 50 concert contract and he was going to be totally embarrased and sued for many MILLIONS. Making his big come back into a bigger disgrace. Just my thoughts about it.

Could be. I also heard that this all started after a Demerol shot. I would hate to think that he would do that, though.

Why is it we almost always go there with "stars"? That's what was initially reported about David Carradine as well.

Actually, it was reported that he was in excellent health; he had just had a physical before AEG would "promte" the concert (or whatever they do).

Some are also saying he was sickly and frail.

The concert dates were being pushed back and he still hasn't hired dancers and chorographers.

He also did detox a time or two for prescription drugs.

Elvis & Anna Nicole Smith all over again.

During my 30 years as an adult, a lot of stars have died. Some of them made me very sad. This is the only death that has brought tears to my little eyes.

See ... and none of that was ever proven. We all have our own opinions on that matter, but it's rather moot at this point. IF he did commit those acts he is paying for them now; if he didn't, he's teaching the heavenly choir to moonwalk.
