I have a nice guy that comes regularly if he's not working.

If I have 25 singers, he's up my ying yang.. ....when am I up, how close am I? Looking over my shoulder.

Tonight he's there for the new night. 3 singers...he sings 2 songs and sits on the patio most of the night...not singing.

He could have sang 15-20 songs.

He had no interest in singing all night....only with a crowd.

That's rather different. As a karaoke singer, I enjoy singing as much as I can, whether there is a crowd or not. If there's not a crowd it is a good time to work on new material. Sounds like he may be a bit pompous.
