I inherited a small bar's karaoke nights when the KDJ (a relative of the owner) ended up kicked off the property for stealing and forging checks and other thefts. I came out of retirement to help the owner. I have updated the club harddrive with recent CDG+MP3's but there are some files that are very old and probably come from the early days of computer Karaoke. Some of them pixelate and look like crap. Here is my question....I found on eBay some sellers offering a 1 or 2 TB hard drive with up to 275,000 songs plus free monthly updates. These are companies and not individuals. I asked the sellers if the files are some kind of generic converted MIDI or are they like SC or PT or legit companies to which they said yes. I want to buy one of those and merge in some of the good parts of the current file to refresh and get away from some of the old junk.
Has anyone here purchased one of these ? Any thoughts ?
