Hi all can someone help me please i have a karaoke file which is in mp4 format on my laptop. i am trying to put it on a cdr so i can play it on my karaoke machine.ive tried to do this but i only manage to get the music on the cdr but not the words.can anyone tell me how i get both music and words on to the cdr please from this mp4 file.thankyou

It may be that your Karaoke machine does not support MP4 format.
Check the the file has burned correct by loading it back in your computers cd/dvd drive, brows it in Windows Explorer, right click on the file and select "open with" then select Windows media player from that menu.
Does it play from there ?
If not right click on file again and select "Media Info" and see if it shows is as an MP4 file If you cant see Media info in the fly out menu try Properties/details check there that it shows as a video file.

It won't play any video format. Just those that are cdg related. Need to find a song either on CDG disc or in mp3+g format to be able to play it. Or hook up your computer and play it from there. The machine should have audio and video ins.

That machine does not play video formats like MP4 and MP4 cannot be converted to a format that the machine supports. It does have support for iPad and tablets so you may be able to play the MP4 on one of those devices connected to the karaoke machine.
